I had a very pleasant experience. The woman who helped me was so kind and very helpful, all around it was a wonderful day and my dress is beautiful!
Terrible!!!!! 3 MONTHS ago as part of the bridal party for my will be sister-in-law's wedding, we ordered our dresses from Thelma's, only to receive the wrong ones! Her wedding is in 1 month so of course they said they would never be able to get the correct dresses on time. They tried to alter the dresses to make them look like the ones we actually ordered but they look ridiculous, you can easily tell that it was a sloppy "quick fix" attempt. We are all going to have to take these dresses somewhere else and pay even more to have their mess fixed to look presentable for the wedding. Not only have we paid $200/piece for the wrong dresses but Thelma's hasn't even tried to take responsibility or offer any sort of explanation/compensation for this mess. The only explanation we've gotten as to why this happened is "we don't know". Completely unprofessional and infuriating! I will never shop here again and I strongly advise anyone else to save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else!
Do not go here! I was part of a bridal party looking for dresses. Our entire Thelma's experience was TERRIBLE. Staff was completely uneducated from prices, sizes, to the time the dress would arrive. They told us we would pay half down, then half when we picked the dress up, when we called again they said they needed payment in full. They measured me completely wrong and lied about other "services offered" as well, all around terrible customer service. We ended up just cancelling our entire order and going to another bridal shop. I suggest you read all the horrible reviews, and choose a different shop.
DO NOT BUY HERE!!!!!' TERRIBLE, HORRIBLE PLACE! People that work there have absolutely no idea what they are doing. Every time I have went there with my bridesmaids (four times) and the two times I called, they could not get information straight. What I mean by this is they could not determine size based on measurement, store policy as far as required down payment OR how long the dresses would take to get in. Even when speaking to management and owner, they would not admit they have done wrong and I'm the bad guy. I got fed up and cancelled my ENTIRE order and went to a different store. If you want to buy from a place that will not communicate with you, go for it. If it were an option, they would not even get a one star rating.
If I could give Thelma's Bridal NEGATIVE STARS I would. Working with Thelma's Bridal was the WORST thing I have ever been apart of!!! The customer service was TERRIBLE, and the owner/managers should be ASHAMED. My maid of honor's dress when it did finally come in didn't fit. At ordering she ordered a size bigger than what they told her would fit. It is important to note that she is one of the smallest people I know usually wearing a size 2. At first they told her it was no problem that they could let the dress out and sometimes the manufacturer makes mistakes when making the dresses. We waited an entire month before I had to call to find out if it was done or not. When she went back to try it on it was like they only altered half of the dress, and it still didn't fit. So they said to leave the dress and they would fix it. Three days later she went back and the dress STILL DIDNT fit. My maid of honor is my teenage sister, these HORRIBLE people instead of offering a way to fix it, began basically accusing her of gaining so much weight in a three month period that she went up three dress sizes..... GIVE ME A BREAK. This is not only RUDE it is INSULTING this is a thin teenage girl and they made her cry in their store over her size!!!! Thelma's continued by saying there was NO way that someone who worked there for 10 yrs would make a mistake, and basically would not take any of the responsibility for the dress not fitting even after their so called seamstress attempted to alter 3 times I do some basic sewing and I could have done a better job than what she did. I am writing this in hopes that it prevents another unknowing bride from putting her bridesmaids through what mine had to endure. I don't know how these people stay in business and if I were the owner I would immediately fire those who work there now they clearly should not work in customer service!!!
